How often are the moonwalks and concession equipment cleaned? All of our equipment is cleaned and disinfected, either before or after each event. This may be done on site, or at BLPR. We believe that delivering you the cleanest and safest equipment possible is key to the success of your event. TOP OF PAGE
How far in advance should I make my reservation? It is advised that you make your reservations as early as possible. During the months of March through October all of our moonwalks and slides are in high demand and we are booked weeks in advance. The sooner you call the better. However, don't hesitate to call for short notice events. We will make every effort to accommodate you. TOP OF PAGE
What items are NOT allowed in the moonwalks and slides? The following items must not be taken into any inflatable equipment both, for safety, and to protect the inflatable from being damaged. NO DRINKS, FOOD, CANDY, GUM (choking hazards). NO SHOES, SHARP OBJECTS, SILLY STRING, PETS or WATERING HOSES ON DRY UNIT INFLATABLES In the event that evidence of any of the above is found at the time of pick up and post inspection, a minimum $100 cleaning fee or a maximum replacement value charge will be assessed. Are your inflatables safe? We strive very hard to provide SAFE FUN to our customers through the equipment we provide them. Our inflatables are constructed with 18oz vinyl with double and quadruple stitching in the seems, most of our units are constructed with a fire retardant material. Each one of our moonwalks has a safety entrance and exit ramp, and emergency exits in the roof. All of our moonwalks, combo units, and slides contain netted or mesh windows on all sides for easy veiwing and supervision. All of our inflatables come with an attached list of rules, and the representative setting up your unit will go through a pre-inspection check list with you at that time. TOP OF PAGE
Who sets up the inflatable? Big League Party Rental sets up, and then takes down all inflatables when we come to pick them up. This is done to protect our customers from possible injury, and to protect the equipment. Set up time ranges from 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the size of the inflatable. Pick up time can be longer, especially if the blower has been shut down and the unit has deflated. If this is the case, the the unit will need to be re-inflated for inspection and possible cleaning. Set up time and pick up time will not count towards rental time. Caution: NEVER LEAVE AN INFLATED UNIT UNATTENDED BY AN ADULT. TOP OF PAGE
Can I pick up the inflatable and set it up myself to cut down on cost? SAFETY, SAFETY, SAFETY. This is our top priority and what we owe our customers to ensure that their event is a success. Big League Party Rental wants to ensure that the transportation of the inflatable (all of our inflatables are over 200lbs.), and the set up, is properly executed without injury to our customers. Because of this, BLPR's owners personally deliver, set up and pick up each rented unit. They will conduct a pre-inspection of the inflatable and site to determine the best and safest location for set up, properly attach the blower to the inflatable for maximum performance, make sure all connections are correctly made, and secure the inflatable to the ground with the proper anchors to ensure safe operation. They will also conduct a rules review and a pre-inspection walk through after the unit is set up and inflated. TOP OF PAGE
What time do you deliver and pick up your party rental equipment? You tell us what time your event is scheduled to start, and we will be there at least 30 minutes before that time for set up. In order for all customers to be delivered on time, we will at times deliver 2 to 3 hours in advance. Rental periods are for the day, and we will pick up the equipment when your event has ended; but please allow a 2 to 3 hour window for pick up at the conclusion of your event. Please inform us if you need an EXACT time for delivery and/or pick up, so that we can make arrangements to meet your request. TOP OF PAGE
How much room do I need for a moonwalk or inflatable slide? Our smallest moonwalks are 13'x13' and can easily fit in an area that is 18' x 18'. The extra room is needed for the blower and blower tube to be fully extended. Also you will want extra room so the you can comfortably move around the outside of the moonwalk. Other larger inflatables, such as combos and slides, will require more space to operate safely. Please ask a BLPR representative about space requirements for any of our larger inflatable units. All inflatables must be located within 75ft of an electrical outlet, and we ask that nothing else be plugged into the outlet we are utilizing. TOP OF PAGE
What kind of surface does the inflatables need to be placed on? The safest and preferred surface is a level grassy area. However, we can set up on concrete, asphalt and pine bark. As a courtesy we ask that no watering of the grass take place the day before, or the day of delivery. Please make sure the area is clear of any rocks, branches, or any other object that could puncture a hole in the inflatable. The area must be clear of any sprinkler systems. TOP OF PAGE
Can an inflatable be set up indoors? Yes. Typically any gymnasium, mall or a warehouse setting with high ceilings will accommodate an inflatable. Please ask a Big League Party Rental representative about ceiling height requirements for any of our inflatables. Inflatables must not be set up near any hot lights, ceiling fans, a/c vents, emergency exits, or any other potentially hazardous area. TOP OF PAGE
What is the policy in case of inclement weather? Safety First! If you have one of our inflatable units set up at your event and bad weather comes calling in the middle a good time…. GET OUT OF THE INFLATABLE! THE INFLATABLE MUST NOT BE USED WHEN IT IS RAINING, WHEN IT IS WET ON THE INSIDE OR WHEN THE WINDS REACH OR EXCEED 15MPH. THE BLOWER MUST BE TURNED OFF AT THE UNIT AND THEN UNPLUGGED AT THE OUTLET. Moonwalks and slides become extremely slippery and unsafe when wet. If the bad weather should pass, you can then re-inflate the inflatable. The blower will help to dry out the unit, but please wait until the unit is dry. You may also use towels to speed up the drying process. Once the unit is dry it is safe to use again. TOP OF PAGE
What is the cancellation policy Big League Party Rental will not cancel reservations due to weather. Because we live in area where rain showers and bad weather end as quickly as they start, and showers can be occuring on one side of town and never affect the other side of town, we leave the decision to cancel a rental up to the customer. You may only cancel your rental the day of your event without penalty due to inclement weather. All decisions to cancel due to inclement weather need to be made BEFORE the representative arrives at the rental location. Please keep in mind that we sometimes deliver several hours before your scheduled event. WE SUGGEST THAT IF YOU CALL TO CANCEL YOUR RENTAL DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER, YOU CALL BY 8AM THE DAY OF YOUR EVENT. If a customer refuses a rental delivery for ANY REASON when the representative arrives at the location, the customer will forfeit the deposit.
Big League Party Rental understands that unforseen events can happen in customers' lives. You may cancel your reservation 48 hours prior to your event without penalty. Any cancellations made inside of 48 hours of a scheduled event, for any reason other than weather, will result in a lost deposit. TOP OF PAGE
